Two suspects are in custody and a third is still being sought after an armed home invasion and vehicle theft in Etobicoke early Wednesday, according to Toronto police.

The incident began around 12:49 a.m. when officers received reports of an armed individual near John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road. Police say several suspects forced their way into a home, took two sets of car keys, and fled in the victims’ vehicles.

One of the stolen cars was later found and collided with a police cruiser. The driver ran but was arrested shortly afterward, and a firearm was seized at the scene. The second vehicle was located near Weston Road and Highway 401, where another suspect was taken into custody. Both arrested individuals were treated for minor injuries.

A third suspect remains at large. Police emphasized that no pursuit was initiated during the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact police or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
