Two people were hospitalized with minor smoke inhalation after a fire on the fourth floor of an apartment building in Ottawa’s Lincoln Heights neighbourhood Thursday evening.
Ottawa Fire Services responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls around 8:45 p.m. at a Regina Street building and found smoke coming from the west side. Firefighters quickly advanced a hose line and contained the blaze to its area of origin, preventing it from spreading further.
An Ottawa Fire investigator is now examining the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
