A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision involving an SUV on Highway 3 in Norfolk County on Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. between King Crescent and Talbot Street in Courtland, southeast of Tillsonburg. Police initially described the rider’s injuries as life-threatening but later updated the condition to serious, though not life-threatening.
Highway 3 was closed for roughly five and a half hours while investigators examined the scene, reopening around 1 a.m. The cause of the crash and whether any charges will be laid have not yet been determined.
