A section of Highway 401 east of Oshawa is closed this morning due to a serious two-vehicle crash that occurred around midnight near Bowmanville Avenue. Four people were transported to the hospital, including two with life-threatening injuries. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have confirmed the highway will remain closed until late morning.
