Two women were seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Guelph on Friday morning.
According to Guelph Police Service, the incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Speedvale Avenue West and Kathleen Street. The pair, aged 29 and 35, were crossing the road when they were hit by a car making a left turn.
Both victims were transported to a trauma centre in Hamilton with serious injuries.
Speedvale Avenue West was closed for about four hours as officers investigated the crash. Police have not said whether any charges are expected.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
