Police are investigating a late-night collision in Mississauga that left two teenage pedestrians injured.
The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m. near the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Beechwood Avenue, where reports indicate the victims were struck while in a crosswalk.
Both pedestrians are males in their late teens. One was taken to a trauma centre in critical condition, while the other sustained less serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The roadway was temporarily shut down between Beechwood Avenue and Hampton Court as investigators examined the scene, but it has since reopened.
Authorities are still working to determine what led to the crash.
