A vehicle collided with an electrical box in Pickering on Friday, causing a power outage which crews are fixing. The crash occurred near Brock Road, north of Rossland Road.
Elexicon Energy reported the outage around 5:45 p.m., though the number of affected customers is not yet known. Durham Regional Police stated that it may take several hours to fully restore service.
