A section of Highway 401 in Elgin County has reopened after being closed due to a vehicle fire. The highway was shut down in both directions between Iona Road and Currie Road. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while emergency crews worked to extinguish the fire. The highway has since been cleared and is open again.
