Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred in Kitchener early Christmas Eve. Emergency crews were called around 2:25 a.m. to the area of Queen Street South and Halls Lane after a vehicle left the roadway and hit two light poles and a gas meter.
The driver fled before police arrived. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact police.
