Waterloo Regional Police are seeking information after a hit-and-run incident in Cambridge on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of George Street North and Blair Road around 5:15 a.m. where they found a Buick had rear-ended a white Ford truck. However, before officers could respond, both the driver and passenger of the Buick abandoned the truck, leaving the engine running. No one was injured in the incident.

It was later discovered that the Ford truck had been reported stolen. Police are asking anyone with information, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the crash, to contact them at 519-570-9777, ext. 2299.
