Sarnia police are seeking a 62-year-old Windsor woman after a vehicle crashed through a car wash early Thursday morning.
Around 1 a.m., a blue Nissan Rogue was seen on security footage pulling up to a gas station on London Road. The woman driving pumped gas, went inside to make a purchase, and then drove away—entering the car wash through an open exit door.
Video shows the vehicle stopping inside before reversing into the now-closed exit door. The driver then tried unsuccessfully to leave through a locked side door, inspected the damage, and ultimately drove through another garage door without stopping, causing significant damage.
Police estimate the total damage at $30,000. The woman is wanted on charges of dangerous driving, mischief over $5,000, careless driving, and failing to report an accident.
