York Regional Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious motorcycle crash in Vaughan that left two people with severe injuries. The collision occurred around 4 p.m. on Friday, September 12, on Dufferin Street just north of Major Mackenzie Drive.

According to police, a red Honda CBR motorcycle collided with the rear of a black BMW 2 Series coupe while both vehicles were traveling northbound. The impact threw both motorcycle occupants from the bike, resulting in significant injuries. The BMW driver was not hurt and remained at the scene.

Investigators are seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
