The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 174 that occurred Tuesday night around 10:15 p.m., east of Trim Road.
Police report a white Audi was speeding in the westbound lanes when the driver lost control, hit a guardrail, and crossed into the eastbound lanes. The Audi collided with a grey SUV and a blue pickup truck, both of which ended up in the ditch, with the drivers sustaining injuries. One remains in critical condition in the hospital.
The 31-year-old Audi driver has been charged with dangerous and impaired driving. Authorities are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward and contact Constable Ridley at 613-236-1222, extension 4713, or by email at ridleyw@ottawapolice.ca.
