A 63-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough late Wednesday night.
Emergency crews responded to the area of Birchmount and Comstock roads shortly after 11 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian collision. Police say a 31-year-old driver hit the woman, who was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police have not yet indicated whether charges will be filed as the investigation continues.
