Police are warning the public after several loose dogs were involved in an attack in London’s east end on Monday.

London Police Service says the incident happened near Thompson Road Park, just north of Gladstone Avenue, where a woman was attacked by the animals. She was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The dogs, described as medium-sized black and brown Rottweilers, remain at large. A third dog involved in the incident has already been captured.

Residents are being urged to remain cautious and avoid approaching the animals. Anyone who spots them is asked to call 911 immediately.

Update– City officials later confirmed that all three dogs had been located and secured at the London Animal Care Centre. It is also revealed the dogs had prior interactions with animal control and were already subject to a muzzle order before the attack occurred.
