Guelph police have charged a 67-year-old woman after she was found wedged inside her vehicle between two parked cars in a shopping plaza parking lot.
Officers were called to the scene on Stone Road East around 12:30 p.m. Monday. Police say the woman had allegedly crashed into two parked vehicles, leaving her car stuck between them.
According to investigators, officers detected the smell of alcohol on her breath. Further testing at the police station indicated she had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system. No injuries were reported.
The woman is charged with impaired operation and dangerous driving. Her driver’s licence was suspended for seven days, and her vehicle was impounded for 90 days.
