A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a west London grocery store Tuesday afternoon. London police say the collision occurred around 3 p.m. at a Farm Boy location near the intersection of Wonderland Road North and Beaverbrook Avenue.
The pedestrian was rushed to hospital with critical injuries and later died. The driver involved remained at the scene. The investigation is now being handled by the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing. The parking lot northwest of the intersection remains closed to both vehicles and pedestrians while police continue their work.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 2:45 p.m. and 3:10 p.m., or who may have dashcam or surveillance footage, to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
