Emergency crews responded to a pedestrian collision near Lawrence Park Monday evening that left a woman in hospital.
Toronto police say the incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Wellness Way, where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The victim, a woman thought to be in her 50s, was transported to hospital with serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities said the driver involved remained at the location following the collision as police continue to look into the circumstances.
