A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital after a hit-and-run in downtown Toronto early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Queen and Church streets, where she was struck by a black pickup truck that fled the scene. She was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital, though the severity of her injuries has not been confirmed.

As the investigation continues, Queen Street remains closed between Church and Jarvis streets. Police are actively searching for the vehicle involved.
