A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle late Monday morning in North York. The collision occurred around 11:26 a.m. at Bayview Avenue and Cummer Avenue. Paramedics transported her on a trauma run, and the driver stayed at the scene.
Bayview Avenue is currently closed in both directions between Ruth Avenue and Risebrough Avenue, and police are advising motorists to expect delays while the investigation continues.
