A woman in her 40s is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Saturday night. The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Park Lawn Road and Kinsdale Boulevard, south of Berry Road.

Initially, Toronto police reported that the crash involved a woman in her 20s. However, a follow-up release clarified that the 46-year-old woman was crossing Park Lawn Road eastbound when she was hit by a silver vehicle turning left from Kinsdale Boulevard onto Park Lawn Road. The pedestrian was in the middle of the intersection when the collision occurred.

The woman was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. There have been no reports of charges so far. Park Lawn Road was temporarily closed between Berry Road and Keywell Court but has since reopened.
