A woman has died in a two-vehicle collision near Woodbine Avenue and Highway 407 in Markham Tuesday afternoon.
York Regional Police were called to the scene around 2:15 p.m. and confirmed the woman was pronounced dead on site. It is not yet known if others were injured.
All four ramps to Highway 407 in the area are closed, and Woodbine Avenue between Miller Avenue and Yorktech Drive is also blocked. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
