A woman was rescued by Ottawa firefighters following a single-vehicle rollover in Kanata on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 5:24 p.m. at the intersection of March Road and Halton Terrace, just north of Terry Fox Drive.
Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle on its side with the woman trapped inside. Firefighters used specialized equipment to complete the extrication within five minutes. The woman was taken to hospital in stable condition as a precaution, while a man at the scene declined medical assessment.
Before clearing the area, firefighters neutralized fluid leaks and disconnected the vehicle’s batteries.
