A woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in North York on Tuesday morning. Emergency crews responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. to the intersection of Sheppard Avenue East and Doris Avenue near Yonge Street. The driver stayed at the scene. Portions of Sheppard and Doris were temporarily closed for the investigation but have since reopened to traffic.
