A 29-year-old woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Barrhaven on Monday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Fallowfield Road and Via Park Place, near the Fallowfield VIA Rail station around 7:20 p.m., according to Ottawa police.
Paramedics said the woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Investigators remain at work determining what led to the collision. Police have not announced any charges or arrests.
