Ontario Provincial Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a woman in Brant County on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the incident happened around 11:57 a.m. at the intersection of Governors Road and Brant-Oxford Road.
Investigators say a woman exited her parked truck at a two-way stop to confront the driver of a blue pickup truck towing a black boat on a black trailer. As the pickup drove away, the woman was knocked to the ground and one of the trailer tires ran over her, causing injuries.
Police describe the driver of the pickup as a woman believed to be in her 30s or 40s with long hair. Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has video footage to contact investigators.
