Barrie police are asking for the public’s assistance after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run in the city’s south end. Officers were called around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 following a report that a woman was struck by a white, four-door pickup truck while crossing at the intersection of Yonge Street and Montgomery Drive.
Police say the vehicle did not stop and continued north on Yonge Street.
