A 20-year-old Mississauga woman struck a hydro pole and ended up with her vehicle partially vertical near Hamilton.
The incident occurred around 10:46 a.m. on April 4 at the intersection of Highway 5 and Rock Chapel Road. Police say the driver lost control while making a left turn on wet pavement, causing the car to leave the road and ride up the support wire attached to a hydro pole.
Emergency crews responded, but no injuries were reported and the damage was minor. The driver, who was alone, did not need medical attention.
A tow truck was brought in to safely bring the vehicle back down, and the local utility company checked the pole to ensure it had not been compromised.
Police confirmed that no charges will be filed.
