A man in his 60s was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in an industrial accident at a recycling facility near Rogers Road and Weston Road in Toronto. Emergency crews responded just before 2:30 p.m. after reports that the man had been struck by a piece of metal while unloading a dump truck.
He was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital. The exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear, and the Ministry of Labour has been notified to investigate.
