OPP are seeking the public’s help to identify the driver of a tractor-trailer that caused a multi-vehicle crash while travelling the wrong way on Highway 400 in Barrie last week.
Investigators say a red truck hauling two blue open trailers entered the northbound lanes from the Barrie ONroute in the wrong direction on Nov. 18 around 7 a.m. The driver reportedly made a U-turn on the highway, setting off a chain-reaction collision involving several vehicles, and then continued north without stopping.
Officers are asking for dash-cam footage recorded between 6 and 7 a.m. that morning and urging anyone with information to contact the OPP’s Aurora detachment.
